Diffusion model
What is Diffusion model?
A class of generative AI model that creates outputs (typically images, audio, or video) by learning to reverse a process of gradually adding noise to training data. Stable Diffusion, DALL-E 3, and Midjourney use diffusion or hybrid approaches.
Example in practice
A marketing creative director using DALL-E 3 to generate campaign imagery is using a diffusion model — one that was trained by learning to remove noise from images until a coherent picture emerges.
