About Deliberate Academy

Our Mission

Professionals need real AI credentials — not another unwatched video course or a PDF with a score. Deliberate Academy exists to give working professionals a fast, credible path to demonstrating AI competency with a verifiable certificate they can actually put on a LinkedIn profile.

We keep our courses free because credentials should not be gatekept. Earning a certificate requires passing a real exam: scenario-based questions, a 75% pass mark, and a maximum of three attempts. Free does not mean easy.

Our Methodology

Every course is text-first. No video, no audio, no filler. Each lesson is a focused, professionally written article — the kind of content a smart person can read in 10–15 minutes and actually learn something from.

Lessons are structured around real professional scenarios, not academic theory. We write for the business professional who reads quickly, thinks critically, and has limited patience for padding.

• Multiple choice questions, with some courses adding short answer questions on top
• Fixed time limit per course (25–75 minutes depending on course length)
• Scored automatically and impartially — no human decides whether you pass or fail
• Up to three attempts — each attempt is independently timed and graded
• 75% minimum score required to pass and receive a certificate

How Certificates Work

When you pass a course exam, a certificate is issued instantly. Each certificate has:

• A unique certificate ID
• A public verification URL that anyone can access without logging in
• Your full name, the course title, and the date issued

Certificates are issued permanently. Once earned, your certificate cannot be deleted by you or by us except in cases of academic dishonesty (in which case it is revoked, and the verification page will reflect that).

How Verification Works

Every certificate verification page is publicly accessible at /verify/[certificate-id]. You can share this URL with an employer, a recruiter, or anyone who wants to confirm the certificate is genuine.

The verification page shows only the public fields: your name, the course, the certificate title, and the issue date. It does not show your exam score.

If a certificate has been revoked, the verification page will clearly indicate that and explain why.

Certificate Integrity Policy

Deliberate Academy issues certificates permanently. Once earned, a certificate cannot be deleted, hidden, or modified by the holder. This is by design: a credential that can be quietly removed is a credential employers cannot rely on.

Certificates are revoked only in two circumstances:

• Academic dishonesty — evidence that the exam was taken by someone other than the certificate holder, that answers were shared, or that the exam was gamed in a way that defeats its purpose.
• Verified identity fraud — evidence that the certificate was issued to a false identity.

When a certificate is revoked, the verification page at /verify/[certificate-id] immediately reflects the revocation. It does not return 404 or disappear — it shows clearly that the certificate was revoked, which gives employers a definitive answer rather than uncertainty.

Revocation decisions are made by Deliberate Academy administrators only. Learners cannot revoke their own certificates.
